FarmMatch Australia Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
1. FarmMatch is a technology platform
FarmMatch Australia is operated by HospoMatch Pty Ltd. FarmMatch provides job discovery, candidate matching, communication and recruitment workflow software. Unless separately agreed in writing, FarmMatch is not the employer, host business, labour-hire provider, recruitment agency, migration agent or visa adviser and is not a party to an employment agreement.
2. Workers pay $0
Workers are not charged a recruitment, placement, matching or attendance fee and are not required to pay a deposit or bond to be considered for a role through FarmMatch. A farm or agency must not use FarmMatch to demand a worker fee. Workers remain responsible for ordinary personal travel and living costs that are clearly disclosed by the relevant employer or host.
3. Worker responsibilities
- Provide accurate profile, availability, experience and right-to-work information.
- Review the role, pay, location, accommodation and transport details before accepting.
- Confirm visa conditions and specified-work eligibility using current government information or qualified advice.
- Communicate promptly if plans change and follow lawful workplace safety directions.
4. Farm responsibilities
- Provide accurate, complete and non-misleading role, pay, hours, location, transport and accommodation information.
- Complete right-to-work checks and comply with Fair Work, tax, superannuation, workplace safety and employment obligations.
- Do not claim that work qualifies for a visa extension unless that claim can be lawfully supported; workers must independently verify eligibility.
- Use worker information only for the agreed recruitment and employment purpose.
5. Recruitment and labour-hire agency responsibilities
An agency using FarmMatch acts independently and remains responsible for its conduct, clients and workers. It must:
- Hold and maintain every licence, registration and authority required where it operates.
- Be authorised by the host business and provide truthful host, role, pay and conditions information.
- Comply with privacy, employment, labour-hire, anti-discrimination, spam and consumer laws.
- Not charge a worker a recruitment fee, deposit or bond through the FarmMatch agency flow.
- Use candidate information only for the role and purpose the worker accepted.
6. Candidate consent and contact reveal
Workers decide whether verified agencies may find their anonymised profile. Search results do not expose a worker's name, email, phone, photo or resume. A worker must accept a specific role invitation before identifiable profile or contact access can be progressed. A worker may disable agency matching at any time; this does not invalidate recruitment activity they already accepted.
7. Farm plans and agency access
Workers use FarmMatch for A$0. A farm may start on Free Farm with one live role and up to three farm-confirmed workers in a rolling 90-day period. Optional Season and Grower passes increase the live-role and confirmed-worker allowances for 90 days and add role archive, cloning and relaunch. Large operators and agencies use a tailored plan agreed in writing. Current prices, inclusions, expiry and billing rules are published on the Farm Pricing page and in the Pricing Terms. Displayed public farm prices include GST unless stated otherwise.
8. Safety, disputes and platform action
Users may report misleading roles, unsafe conditions, harassment, privacy misuse or suspected unlawful conduct. FarmMatch may pause a role or account, preserve audit records, request verification, or refer a matter to an appropriate authority. FarmMatch's review process does not replace workplace, court, tribunal, regulator or emergency processes.
9. No migration or legal advice
Information, matching scores and interview summaries are administrative tools, not legal, migration, employment or professional advice. The Department of Home Affairs or a qualified adviser can confirm visa and specified-work questions.
10. Liability and Australian law
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to those rights, users remain responsible for employment, travel, safety, visa and commercial decisions and for independently checking another party's claims. These Terms are governed by applicable Australian law.
